Pope Francis - Your Thoughts One Year On...

It is exactly one year to the day that Jorge Mario Bergoglio stepped out onto the balcony of St Peter's Basilica to greet the world as Pope Francis. 
 
It has been quite a journey since that moment and the Pope has won many admirers from both inside and outside the Church.  He has also drawn criticism from people who say he is too liberal for the Church and others who don't think he is going far enough to bridge perceived divisions with certain sections of society such as the gay community.
 
What are your thoughts on Pope Francis' first year?  Do you recall any action or quote from the Pope that really caught your attention and has had a significant effect on your life?  Do you think he is doing a good job in leading the world's 1.2 billion Catholic people to God?  What would you like to see him do in the future?

Yet we are called to rely on His Word. And we are called to take it into our hearts and turn to it in every single second of our lives. God invites us to always have His Word to hand so that we can gain
